Mystery connector under intake manifold?¿

Hello, I’m trying to diagnose a misfire. It is only noticeable on idle and I can’t link it to only one cylinder. Disconnecting one spark plug at a time, the misfire keeps going. So it seems to be on all cylinders, I have no idea. Anyways I went on a search for an obd2 port which I could not find, this is a ek3 civic from 1996 hatch. In my search I happen to find a weird connector under the manifold, it had a lot of wires going in to it and it was not connected to anything. Could this be an obd1 connector? I’m guessing this model year was the last that didn’t have a obd2, how do I diagnose it? Please help

edit: forgot to say that I have the 1.5 114hp engine

'96 should have obd2, connector is under the dash on the far left if you're in North America

Probably found the splice pack.

Could this be an obd1 connector?
Nope.

I’m in Sweden, managed to figure out that it is obd1 I think, found some kinda plug and shorted the wires and got the engine light flashing me a code 54. Fixed it but still running funky.🤷🏻‍♂️

What does a splice pack do?

The Sealed Splice Pack is a connection system that allows you to eliminate multiple wire splices, providing you with a remote serviceable location on any electrical wiring harness application.
