California state referee ticket
California state referee ticket
Hey everyone i recently got a state referee ticket and i been gettting alot of mixed comments about it. Some people tell me im going to HAVE to put everything stock back on it. (prolly run me about $4000) Other people tell me i Could just skip the state referee ticket and pay the fine and some people tell me i gotta flunk the test then go to court and show em i flunked and pay the fine.
So this cop was a dick he saw my fuel pressure regulator and he said that was illegal and gave me a state referee ticket the ticket reads as follows..
27150(a)ve loud exhaust correctale? (yes) / no
27156 alterred emissions correctable? yes / (no)

I got a emissions ticket vc 27156(b) 3 weeks ago i put my stock intake back on and got stock muffler. I wanna know if the referee will just look at my car to see if its ok or what because my check engine light is on. Will that be an automatic fail or is that for smog test only???

Re: California state referee ticket
cant have the engine light or it will fail the visual. if you got it for emissions, they will most likely be doing a smog anyway.
Re: California state referee ticket
Dang it!!! Ill be needing a new distributor to get rid of my check engine light. The code says crankshaft position sensor is going out, and its hard to find em used.
