Lightbulb I need HELP

Hi,

I have a long time following this page without became a member and I have some doubts about a few things that I hope that you guys can help me out.

I have a EJ8 1999 EX COUPE (Automatic) and I wanna know if its worth it to add a Cold Air Intake, Exhaust Catback and Header with the car being auto.

or

¿Would be better if I make the swap to Manual?

Also, I run a 16x7 wheels ¿It would be better go with 15''?

Re: I need HELP

You wouldn’t feel anything regardless of it being manual or auto. None of those would really contribute to a power increase until you being forced induction to the table. Now, if you were to do that, then I’d manual swap.

You'll have shiny parts and more noise, no power gains, 16s look too big on these cars IMO

lol 16's too big? I'd say 17's are the max I'd put on 2005 or older civics.

Also, it's not so much "no power gains" but really a shift in the power band. Lose down low, gain at damn near redline. They offset, if anything. With dyno sheets, people tend to not look at any losses and only at gains (likely largely thanks to Import Tuner Power Pages where they would say "OMG WE GAINED 3 WHP AT 6500RPM nevermind the fact that redline is 6800rpm, and we lost 5 horsepower in the 1500-2000 range... and the MSRP on this part was $800")
