My 2005 Honda Civic moon roof wrench (which came with the car, inside the brown plastic pouch with part of the jack for flat tires) does not fit the 5mm hex socket in the roof above the rear seat. (This wrench is used to manually winch the moon roof open and closed when the electric motor mechanism does not work - which has been happening a lot lately - but it's intermittent.)

A standard 5mm hex/allen key fits perfectly. I bought a new moon roof wrench from amazon, also for the 2005 Civic, and it *also* does not fit.

I was able to get the original moon roof wrench to fit by filing down all six faces on the business end of the wrench.

Surely my 2005 Civic is not the only one with this problem. Thoughts??
