2005 Honda Civic LX shakes only when starting it, engine light starts blinking then stops blinking after 30 seconds. I took it to the shop and the replaced a ignition coil.. next day it did the same So I took it back this time they said “oh well one of the spark plugs looked worn out so this should do the trick” (I asked them the first time if it was my spark plugs). So they replaced the spark plug I pick my car up it runs better but still a little weird when I first start it... today once again I started my car and it started shaking and knocking, the engine like once again started blinking then stopped. Have you guys ever had this issue? What could the problem be? I’m going to have to take it to a different shop since they can’t figure it out but I just figured maybe someone else has gone through this? I love my Honda Civic and I don’t mind putting money into it but I feel like I’m getting scammed. I’ve been to this place 3 times so far and they always say it’s fixed but the same issue pops up.

Go buy a code reader for $20 and see what the codes are, coils and plugs are easy to do yourself. Or take it to a different shop with mechanics that actually know how to diagnose cars
