I really do not want to pay $60 for something that has got to be easy... does anyone know the steps/guidelines/ perameters I believe I got 2 inch drop springs.

For sure. A towel, masking tape, Phillips screwdriver, a tape measure, and about a half hour behind a Walmart or something is all you need. Really, anywhere with flat ground, at least 40' of clearance and a big, empty wall
basic procedure
• Park 25' from wall as perpendicular to wall as you possibly can using the center of the bulb as the reference for that 25'
• Measure ground to center of bulb.
• Cover one headlight with towel
• On wall, mark [height measurement] - 2" with masking tape, as straight as you can from bulb.
• Use adjumstent screws to fix aim accordingly.
• Repeat procedure with other headlight.
