Washer Fluid Low Light Issue
Washer Fluid Low Light Issue
2014 Civic Si here, so I recently had the light popped up and I bought the fluid and dumped it in however this time only about 70~80% of the container is used (3.78L) and in the past
it usually used up to about 90~95%.
I drove a little bit the light popped up again so I filled in a bit more and it's immediately full, the fluid was all the way to the top of the tanker nozzle and it wouldn't go down
so I was like okay it should be full.
However, I got back to the car and the light is still on. Interestingly, the fluid level would be back to normal after a bit of driving but using the wash spread would not de-level the fluid.
I'm pretty sure it's definitely not "low" since more than half of the fluid from the container went in, but having the light on all the time is kind of annoying.
I've also used a hook stick in the suspicion that something is stuck in the tunnel but nothing was there.
Anyone has had similar experience or suggestions on what to do?

Re: Washer Fluid Low Light Issue
Probably a little chunk of something stuck in the switch. Could remove the washer bottle to get at it but it's a pain. Running a couple jugs through the system will probably flush it out. Can also try smacking the bumper near the washer bottle to try and dislodge it. This happened to my coworker's car, and the problem corrected itself
