I just bought this car and the windshield wiper fluid does not come out and there is no sound. Does this mean my the motor to my pump needs to be replaced or its a fuse that needs replacing. I checked my book and can only find fuse to wipers. Sorry if my forum lingo is not proper but I have never been on a forum before let alone a car forum! lol

Open the hood, pop the hose off, and either stick the hose somewhere you can watch it or have someone else hit the sprayer and see if anything happens.
The pump is behind the bumper in the left front corner can check if the pump is getting power and ground. I'm not sure if there's a specific fuse for just the pump

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

I'd use a test light to check if the pump is receiving proper power and ground when the switch is activated.
You are activating the washer switch the right way, yes?
