Got a small crack in the passenger side mirror housing on a 2007 Civic. Mirror and mechanism are undamaged -there's just a small piece of the plastic missing on the black piece surrounding the mirror. Don't think it warrants replacing the whole mirror, but I would like to lay in something to close the small breach where the plastic is missing. Was looking online for plastic repair products, but confused about what to use.

If you've used plastic repair products for a similar issue, what did you use?

they make plastic weld epoxy. you mix the two parts together and spread it in as filler, smooth it out, then let it dry. it sets fast like in a few minutes so work fast. after 15 mins or so it will start to turn hard and after 4 hrs its rock hard. bonds most types of plastics and should work on the mirror.
