CV Boot and Honda Warranty Help!!

Found out today that CV boot has small hole in it letting out all the grease as it spins. Wondering if Honda will cover this as a warranty item since my car is lowered, Ive ssen posts were Honda wouldnt cover any suspension items since car was modified. I know Honda has to prove that modification was the cause. Just dont want to hassle with removing my springs and paying for another alignment efore taking it to the dealer. Any and all opinions or comments would be appreciated.

Should be covered, but was there a chance that the hole was caused from lowering the car and installing suspention parts? Most of the time a CV boot will crack from dry rot, but if this hole was caused from road debris or a mis guided tool, I dought you'll be covered.

I noticed it was leaking through a small tear while I was doing the lowering spring install. There was axle grease all over the suspension, I just cleaned it up and put the springs on.

You need to get that fixed ASAP either from the dealer or your own mechanic, but you don't want water and dirt getting in there, it'll make your CV joint turn to toast.
