The weather striping on the top of my winshield came loose, so it flaps in the wind and make a really loud buzzing sound. Honda is going to replace it, but they said they would have to take my windshield out to do it. so i have to wait till they get a windshield in incase it breaks. Shouldent they just be able to pull the strip off, and glue another one in?

has anyone else had this problem?

The strip is part of the seal for the windshield. It probably goes underneath the windshield, which is why it has to come out. If it's flapping, chances are it got torn.

I don't have that problem but the plastic at the bottom of my windshield has come up from the glass as well.

its more of like a trim piece... the guy at the delarship said that if i got tired of the noise i could take it of, and the windshield would still be sealed. and its not torn eather, ill take a pic of it later so you can see what im talking about.

I had that same problem. Pain in the *** when I heard in happen in Kansas city, and I had to drive to duluth. 9.5 hours of trying to get it to sit right while drving, and my hand out of the moonroof a lot. I took it to the dealer, and than they contracted out, because I saw that on the invoice they took it to a local autoglass place.
