I have just recently been noticing that the trunk floor(under the spare tire) and along the underportion of the back seats(under the cushons) are very damp and the seat cushuns that lay agains the metal frame are sometimes sopping wet. Has anyone elce had this problem? I have no idea where it is comming from but I am worried about it messing with my system setup. I have alot of wires and a custom trunk enclosure that could get seriesly messed up by this. Any Ideas? Please help if you know whats going on.
Thanks All!!

Take all your **** out before damage occurs and look around to make sure you didnt drill too deep doing that custom work. Maybe take it to the dealer and findout if you got a leak somewhere and if they can fix it. When does i get wet? When its raining or when you wash your car or is it like this all the time?

First of all, I don't have under carrage neons so It isn't anything involving me drilling into the trunk. I havn't drilled into anything on my car yet. Second...I don't notice it at any speciffic point. I noticed it under the seats yesterday when I was running some wires for the amp. I had to pull the back seats up and that is when I found the dampness. As far as the trunk goes, the spare tire isn't in the trunk anymore, I have a custom box for my sub sitting where the spare used to be. There are blankets between the bottom of the box and the floor of the trunk and that is where I feel the dampness. The blanket is damp and I am starting to see some water marks on the box itself. I am sure that it isn't anything I have done because I havn't done anything that would cause the trunk to leak at all.

Does your trunk shut fully or should you adjust it to close a little further, also make sure that the rubber seal around your trunk is still lined up and in the correct position
I need TP for my bunghole

rhino line that sucker or use a liquid sound dampener.
Take the rear seats out and all the trunk lining.
Search for any holes or cracks or just spray that it every where.
fatmat makes a liquid plus they are on a banner on top of the main page and might give a site discount to members.
Tell us what you find I had water in the trunk once.
luckly I live in california.

I will try that liquid sound dampner, that might work. I have looked all around the trunk and can't find anything wrong. I havn't had any problems with the trunk lid closing all the way and I havn't seen any evidence of the rubber seal being out of place. It's not bent anywhere but I will check again. Thanks all.
hey i have had the same problem with my car and my sound system. After taking the car to the dealership about 10 times to get this fixed, i finally decided to work on this myself and found that the water leaks in from the fuel filler flashing. You need to take the flashing out and silicone the fawk out of it so that it wont leak. The gaskets that honda uses are useless and are worthless. Infact the dealership was worthless because they couldnt figure this out after 10 times and it took me 5 minutes.
