is it me?

ok so i'm having a little problem. right now my car has no tack (this weekend ) so i dont know the tale of the rpms. i don't know where i shift but generally its at 20-40-60-80km. The problem i am having is more evident going from first to second and sometimes going second to third. I put in the clutch, switch gears, give a little gas (dunno the rpms) while letting off the clutch. Anyways it seems to chug. as if for a moment the rpms plummit. is it something that subconcously i am doing or what? the dealership says that there is nothing wrong with it. But it does do it. and only when i'm really giving er'. and suggestions?

If you hit the rev limiter the car will quit till the rpm drops off below the limit. It will cut out even if you floor it while sitting still.

Most times cars chug or bog when the shift to a higher gear is too soon or if you skip a gear.

How old are you and how much expierence do you have driving? If you've been driving stick for a while, you should be able to tell where to shift from the sound of things. Maybe you should turn down your radio.

This is what the Owners manual says about shift points:

Normal Acceleration:
1st to 2nd @ 15 mph (24 km/h)
2nd to 3rd @ 27 mph (43 km/h)
3rd to 4th @ 39 mph (63 km/h)
4th to 5th @ 53 mph (85 km/h)

Cruise from Acceleration:
1st to 2nd @ 9 mph (14 km/h)
2nd to 3rd @ 20 mph (32 km/h)
3rd to 4th @ 33 mph (53 km/h)
4th to 5th @ 48 mph (77 km/h)

I assume tha cruise from acceleration means that your coasting at the time..
