OMG.. what the hell is that noise?!?!?!

my civic has problems i think...[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG] well it started raining all hardcore this morning and the streets were kinda flooded, and i really couldnt avoid driving through puddles.. but anyways on my way home the car started making this wierd creeking noise and the car was boggin out like big time... could this be becasue of my CAI and i prolly got water all up in it? or is it something else?! someone help me out!!!!! the water prolly damamanged the engine. CAI and places where it rains normally are no good on cars. You get nothing buy hydrolock......

your cai gets wet and starves the engine of air so it sounds funny and almost dies ... its pretty normal myn does it to but if you want to get rid of the problem then you have to buy a bypasss vavle which will still let the engine breath eventhough yer primary filter is wet

or if you have an aem cai take the bottom prtion off and move your filter up during the rainy season.

well.. i checked my filter and yeah it was a lil damp [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG] but its all good now, i checked my oil and what not and it all looks fine.. that noise just really scared the $hit out of me! .... i really didnt think of getting the Bypass thingie for it just cuz i live in the middle of the freaking desert and it barely rains here!!! (but last night was SoO unexplainable) but now i guesss imma go ahead and buy one... does it really work?
