Grinding in 3rd w/ Shortshifter

Grinding in 3rd w/ Shortshifter
I know this has been covered on at least 2 other occasions, Last week my car developed the 2 to 3 grind when you don't wait 2-3 seconds.
2 questions:
1. did the other people with this problem have a short-shifter installed.
2. what was the final resolution to this problem
