, AIC every thing Help, idle drops when engine cold.

Im having problems wid my engine, when the car is parked overnight, then started the next morining, i eccounter idle drops to 500rpm even 400rpm at neutral, sometimes car completely shuts down. I already checked TPS, AIC everything seems to be ok. Could it be the battery? [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

what spark plugs are you running? Just answer the question and i will tell you the problem!

What about the CTS? The coolant temperature sensor is what tells the ECU what position the IAC and TPS should be at I believe.

please elaborate, my car does the same thing sometimes.. I have the Denso Iridium IK20's in mine.. I never noticed the problem until recently....

No, it's not the battery (battery has nothing to do with the performance of the engine once the car is turned on) batterys sole purpose is to crank that little d17

if your are running any other plugs then HOT fire platniums you will have this problem! That is what the car is designed to run on for the emmisions ULEV control and if you dont have these your car may misfire at lower temps check engine light could come on or everthing will stay okay but the car will have a lower irregular idle at colder temps!
