G-Tech Pro Comp??

i just got a new g-tech pro comp for christmas, it worked great until my brother broke it. now the "tach" says 2000 rpms when i'm idling at 1k. Does anybody know how to fix this?? I've tried calibrating it like 10 times....nothing...I think really need to fix it since it costs $250. Please help me.

Mine does the same thing, but it works better once it gets to higher RPM's... Did you download the newest firmware from their website, that might help. Also it says in the manual to turn your headlights and rear window defogger on while calibrating the RPM's. ALso try resestting all the data and starting from scratch. Its been too cold to use mine lately and I don't want to push my car too hard in sub-zero temps!

Should i just wait until it gets warmer here and then use it? Would that make a difference too?
