Need Help Taking Off Air Filter Panel

For some reason i can't take the panel off of my 02 civic Air Filter Box. Can someone give me instructions?

are you trying JUST to replace the filter?

if so, you just need to remove the screws around the cover (like 5-6) and 1 in the center.

and yank it out!

Is one of your screws stripped?? One of mine was and it wouldnt come loose. The dealer now had to order new top and bottom air filter housing units. Oh and you do need it, I think it is an 8mm socket, and than twists with a screwdriver.

Nothing!! Warrenty. They arent just putting in new screws, they are putting in a whole new air filter housing unit.

I also cannot get one screw off. It seems stripped. Also having trouble putting two screws back on, i.e, can't seem to tighten them.......

Did you also try to use a socket? Cuz the ones on my airbox are hex screws, which would lead me to believe that there are 2 ways to tighten/loosen the fasteners.
