Big rig style baybeee....

If you want to drive F&F style, rev it up, pop out the clutch, then when you are under way (and you have the car floored) pump the clutch every 1000 rpm or so to spin the tires. this will make you go soooooooooo fast.

it doesn't do much but other than makin vin looks cool in the movie.

I know we can "rev-match"...for DOWNSHIFTING. Say...4th gear. 4th - clutch - netural - rev - clutch - 3rd. Depending on the Civic you drive (we have different ratios) you want to match your engine RPM to the RPM you get in 3rd gear at Xmph.

okay dude for sh-ts and giggles if you wanna double clutch you do this:

push in clutch, shift into first

when you push in the clutch to shift from first to second, instead of shifting to second, put it in neutral, let out the clutch, push in the clutch then shift to second and so on and so forth for the remaining gears.

p.s. double clutching is recommended for (1982 i think) and previous vehicles. imagine driving a big rig with 10-18 gears and doin this. now you know why they're so slow.

Wow, I never thought they had so many gears. I once saw/heard a big-rig smash into the back of another rig's trailer during stop-go traffic. I heard him shift into neutral, the just as it hit a much lower gear (heard the engine brake)...it plowed into him. Wonder if it could have been different if double-clutching wasn't involved. It sent the rig and trailer into my lane forcing me to off-road it on the median.

well he prolly was shiftin way down maybe skippin a gear or somethin, but the gears vary from 5 gears to 9 or more each gear has high and low. most ive driven is 5 hi lo so 10 gears.

Yeah, he shifted to a very low gear for his speed. OMG, was it loud (all windows down)...and it revved pretty damn high for a diesel.
