BRAKE PROBLEM, HELP!!!

I tried searching threads, but everyone is talking about brake problems after 15,000 miles. My vic has 3,350 miles on it, and as I was driving today, I noticed that when i brake hard (not sqeeling hard, but hard enough to stop without making noise.) my right front brake makes a really loud grinding noise. Loud enough that i heard it over my music which was loud enough to begin with. I sortof thought i heard the same thing about a week ago, but it only happened once in a span of about an hour. it hasnt happened again until today. It appears that when the brakes are warm, the noise goes away, but once they cool down, the grinding noise comes back. I doubt that my rotors are warped because i dont drive my car hard and i actually downshift as apposed to riding my brake at traffic stops. Keep in mind that even if i was a rough driver..at less than 4k miles, its a little surprising. If i brake slowly, it doesnt make the noise at all. What the fork is going on?? I havent taken the wheel off yet cuz i dont know exactly what im looking for...any suggestions? ideas??

I have 40,000km. Brakes are just like new, I've done the services on them myself and they are fine. Its all how you drive.

i've got 30.000 on mine same pads and rotors no problems. Try to find a way to reproduce the nosie whenever you want. Then take it to the dealer to be fixed under warranty.

just went to dealership...... mechanic said its normal for the car to do that because of the very cold weather on the brakes.

whats the deal with theses pads? Ive got 43000 miles on mine and I autocross and they are still good. When they do go
I plan on replacing the rotor with something a little more perfomance minded.

I just got my rotors resurfaced and pads changed under warranty today. I' at 7500 miles. I was experiencing the same problem you had, then after a while the front right started to jerk my car back and forth under constant braking and grinded under harder braking. Sure enough they were warped. Take it in to the dealer, they'll prob do the service under good will, that's what they did for me. Now just to get that knocking camshaft problem looked at....
