Paint Fading from B-Pillar...

A little while ago, I started to notice that a part of my (driver side) b-pillar was not as glossy as the rest of it (2002 Civic Si coupe). I assumed it was simply dirt or something, so I waited till I washed the car. Well, after several washes, this appears to be that the black paint is fading from the plastic b-pillar trim. I've attached photographs I've taken this evening of the problem.

I'll be swinging by the dealership probably Tuesday after work for them to order the part and then make a future appointment. Additionally, I've also notice that on the left side (driver side) of the front bumper where the fog-lights would be mounted, the paint is beginning to crack and will eventually peel off. I'm not sure how successful anyone was with dealing with this issue, but as of today my car has approximately 10 months on it, and I'm worried that after a few years, the bumper will look like a Chrysler paintjob.

Here's the best picture that I could take (from my dark garage) of the chipping paint:

Up close (something that the camera could not capture) it looks like the a 1.0 by 0.5-inch area is flaking and loosing adhesion from the bumper. We'll see what my dealer will do about this matter, in addition to the B-pillar paint fading (above).

Well, I've swung by my dealership this afternoon and the dealer placed an order on the B-pillar trim, which should come in within a week or two. With regards to the paint peeling (above described issue), they service manager inspected the vehicle and determined that the clear coat is coming off, which needs to be re-painted with clearcoat. He told me that he'll need minimum of 1-day to work on it, with probably a second day to fully complete the work. It's going to be difficult to give up my Honda for that time period, especially when getting to and from work. Unfortunately, they don't give out loaners or rentals. Oh well...
