Is it ok for springs to be upside down!??

Well..i took my front neuspeed springs and put them upside down. In the first place, the springs were set normal. But i thought if i flipped the springs(top to bottom) that will reduce the clickin. I found out that it does reduce some of the noise..but it's still makes a grindy and click noise when moving at low seepd(7mph). Does flippin the springs upside down effect the tire, shocks, or suspension?? Ohhh i'm thinking about buying some struts any advice?? Does anyone know where i can find some cheap price and decent quality?? Thanks everyone has been much help on this site!!

from my experience on my friend's maxima, they sure did not perform the same way. make sure they're put in properly. as for struts, all we have are koni yellows - i'm waiting for a cheaper alternative.

well.. if u have a clicking noise in ur front when u turn then u need to drop the strut and grease it up.. the spring is getting stuck and when the force moves it.. it just goes click try that.. and put ur spring right side up...
