The yellow plug under your passenger seat connects to your airbag. (All yellow wires are airbag wires). That plug has to be plugged in, or the light will come on. Of course, now that you've started your car with that plug unplugged, the light will always be on until you either put your seat back in, or find some way to wire it differently, then follow the DIY SRS light instructions to turn it off. But don't screw around with your airbag wiring, 'cause you can kill yourself doing that.

P.S. I took mine to the dealer, talked to him for a bit, and he turned the light off for me. But that's only after I put my stock seat back in.

You have to have the wire under the seat hooked up or your Air Bags won't work. The seats should have been made for your application.
