I run about 300 miles with 10 gallons. 30mpg or so.... and i'm very heavy on the pedal.
I only have an Injen CAI.
blah, i could care less about gas mileage. Civic gets more than 25mpg no matter what!

my LX 4 door gets 39 mpg average, and i drive 80% highway, 20% city.
i dont rev much higher than 3,000 rpm.
i once took a 300 mile trip in which i ran the A/C the whole way, and
i averaged 41 mpg! that's even better than what the car is rated
for, and my A/C was on

I get about 32 mpg reagular city driving. I get the revs up high a few times a day usually but dont really notice any difference in gas mileage. By the way what are all of you running for gas. I always use Mobil and I just recently started using 89 and not 87. havent tried to figure the mileage since the switch.
Had me and the wife and a weeks worth of gear, (cooler of beer). Went from Kansas City to Estes Park, CO and got 38mpg both ways with and withour air on. I figure I put roughly 1200 mi. on her (the car) that week.

Running totally stock.. This year I took my car out on a road trip to So Cal and back twice from Washington. Each trip I drove about 3000 miles. Anyhow, on my way down there the gas milage really surprised me. I kept cruise control on alot and didnt accelerate too hard. I stop at a gas station every 350 to 370 miles and its alwase about 9 gallons to full.
Not sure now... I have 17" rims that are I think very slighty smaller (205/40) and now have an Injen RD CAI. I get roughly 30-33mpg right now with heavy stop and go driving for 3 hours per day going to work and back. Might go on a road trip again in 2 weeks so we'll see what I get next time

I'd say i get about 42 mpg
so, i was averaging about 38-39 mpg on my LX 4 door '01...
i just switched from Honda 5w-20 oil to Mobil 1 Supersyn 5w-30, and
am now averaging about 42 mpg. yipeeeeeeeeee
dont worry, civics were not built equal. some were born in japan, some were from canada, and the rest a us citizens.
mine happens to be a canadian boy and he averages about 29 mile per gallon on my routine driving (30% highway, 70% local with a lot of up- and down-hills). i would be happier if i can get more of it, but according to my research, this should be normal.
i had some long trips before, and those got me up to nearly 40 mpg. therefore, i do not worry no more.
guys, do not just look at others' number. be yourself, consider how fast you are driving and what your local traffic condition is. All in all, we shall be glad that high gas mileage is still (or may i say "only") a merit of the current civics.

Well well well. just filled up my tank again. Got 44mpg on this one. Went 200 miles on the interstate to get back to college and had my ac on the whole time and i went up lots of hills plus my bro was in the car and my trunk was loaded down. have Motegi MR7 rims maybe that helps. Went average of 75 mph.
