tyc projectors fogged

tyc projectors fogged

My projectors are really fogged up.....trying to think of ways to fix it......help!!!!

Well, you should have just run a bead of silicone caulk around the edges before you put them in, I am not sure how you can get the existing fog out of there now...I was scared of the same thing when I cleared my headlights, but once I reinstalled the lens, I ran some silicone bathroom caulk in there and no fogging since, been thru quite a bit of rainstorms too!

Yeah, I know, it sucks. Maybe try and melt the adhesve around your projectors by quickly throwing it in the over or using a hair dryer, take the lens off and then reseal it with silicone caulk...while you have the lens off, clean the fog off the lens...

Yeah, kind of like the DIY for clearing your headlights, except you don't take anything out. Unless you want to rip out the orange reflector while you're in there.
