Stall when hitting hard bump?!?!? Help...(Problem Not Addressed, Searched)
This just started happening yesterday....Whenever I hit a hard bump, my car stalls!! I don't know why, and my Honda dealership is making me wait until August 1 to get it fixed....does anyone know why this is happening??? I can't figure it out...I have a 2001 Auto Civic EX.....doesn't stall at any other time and hasn't stalled ever until yesterday, I have had the car for about a year and a half....any input would be nice =D

I had that problem with my old 71 442, it would shut right off after hitting a bump or taking a hard right turn, left turns it never happened. Turned out that the coil, that was mounted on the fire wall, was loose and everytime I hit something hard enough it would bounce up and out and ground out on the air cleaner. It took me many weeks and many mechanics to figure this out, and at the time I was a mechanic at a large shop and everyone took a shot at it. It wasn't until i hooked it up to the Sun Scope that I found out that the coil was loose. So I bet you have the same type problem, maybe not with the coil, but with something grounding out or becoming disconnected.

Thanks for the info =D.....i thought that a loose connection might be the problem but didnt know for sure....Honda has had my car for 2 days now, and have no idea whats wrong, they told me they were "Stumped".....so I dont know how Im going to get this fixed....i probably have a better chance fixing it myself.....
