Recall For Idle Problem
I want to count number of people who are having the same idle promblem as myself, and maybe create a recall somehow.
As most of you should know which idle problem I am talking about. (when your idle drops all of sudden, and sometimes engine dies off)
For those who are having this problem ONLY, post messages.
thanks

I have had that problem since I bought the car and every time I go in for service it doesnt do it. They said they cant fix it unless they see it and they havent seen it yet.
i got that same problem and i have an automatic, but the dealer told me that unless the check engine light comes on they cant do anything

yep i got that same problem too. i took it to the dealer and they didnt find anything wrong with it. I guess if it happens again, i'll take it to a different dealer.
SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR I HAVE HAD THAT PROBLEM WHEN TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY DROVE IT IT DID DO IT FOR THEM THEY SAID USE A HIGHER OCTANE OR USE A FUEL ADDITIVE RECOMMENDED BG 44K FUEL TREATMENT I USED THAT WITH A FULL TANK OF PREMIUM AND TO THIS DAY IT STILL DOES IT IF YOU HAVE FOUND A FIX PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

There was a recall for the 2001 civc, automatic only. There was a problem with the transmission fluids, they flush it, fill it drive it, repeat, and after two flushes and new fluid it should be ok. I however have a problem similer in my 5 speed, but it doesnt happen too often.

I have had the same problem. When I crank it up in the morning after overnight itll idle real rough for a few seconds. The dealership said there is nothing they can do unless they see it doing it, which in my eyes they just dont wanna fix it.
