Wrong fan comes on?

ok so my 03 Civic Lx has a bad engine coolant sensor, I replaced it, the whole reason why was because the radiator fan wouldn’t ever kick on troubleshot it and it was the sensor, now the fan on the left which is a/c fan comes on and the radiator fan does. Is it possible when I did the radiator replacement I plugged the wrong fan in or? Like my heater won’t work now and the wrong fan comes on. I don’t even know where to go from here.

Both radiator fans are designed to always operate together

Start checking for blown fuses in both fuse boxes?
Wiring diagrams and voltmeter/test light?

Wound up breaking out my wiring diagrams, did a battery test and the fan came on and the relay was good. Wiring diagram shows that the ECT sensor is was turns both fans on. Figured out it’s the motor in the radiator fan going out because of the way it runs and what not. Took a little reading but I finally figured out what I need.
