is the air fuel ratio sensor something on all EXs? so theres 3 sensors on the exhaust? one 02 sensor on the header....2 on the catalytic converter?

im only getting 2 codes.. p0135 and p0141 both 02? the car does not have either 02 sensors.

A/F sensor was only used on 04 and 05 model years and is the primary (front) sensor. Secondary (rear) sensor is standard O2 sensor.

01-03 all use standard O2 sensors in both locations.


D17A2 engine (VTEC), all 01-05 years, locates the cat under the car, not up top in front of the engine.

I urge you to refer to any of the many the online Honda dealer parts catalogs as a pats reference, it can help a lot when a service manual diagram is confusing or misleading.

hmmm...so the header has no 02 ports... so i wonder why it matters if its california legal..

It's California. They have their own emissions rules and regulations.
