Honda civic 2002 auto no power

Hey i have a 2002 honda civic auto,keyfob stopped working have replaced battery,but still no power atall to vehicle,no lights on dash and hazards dont work either.nothing works atall.any ideas anyone please TIA..
Red light working on keyfob when pressed. tnx

You replaced WHICH battery? The small battery in the fob, or the big battery in the engine compartment?


This was not a key fob problem.
This was a dead battery problem?

Assuming you installed the 12v battery for the car.....
Did you remove the red and black plastic covers from the battery posts before installing?




Did you connect the battery cables backwards, hear a POP then realize OOPS and then turn it the right way, now nothing at all works? (blown 100A fuse)

Did you try to jump start the car?

sorry dont think i explained well enough,no i just replaced keyfob battery and not main car battery tnx for the reply
could not bump start as automatic.what actually happened was i parked the car overnight and went to unlock in morning but keyfob not working so replaced battery in keyfob,did not touch main car battery but still not working nor any power to vehicle whatsoever.thankyou

SOLVED: thankyou very much for your help guys,it was the car battery,had forgotten to turn off headlights,but now radio asking for code and have no manual or code,is there a way to find out the code without needing a lottery win to fund? hehe tnx again guys 10/10,very efficient forum...

My radio code was on a sticker on driver side of glovebox. I also had the factory card with code just noticed one day when opened glovebox had sticker with same numbers as radio code....
