My biggest problem is having to explain to all the stupid people who look at my POS and say..."Those CIVIC's sure are reliable, can't go wrong with one of those..." And I have to run down the list of why these cars are overrated beyond belief.

Also, the amount of stupid 16 year olds who drive these cars and put those stupid *** blue lit washer nozzles on the car, played out Altezza tailights, stupid *** gradated mirror tint on their windows. And all the suckers who think they're driving a race car instead of accepting this car for what it really is...a low emissions vehicle with minimal horsepower and amenities. I laugh as watch them stall their ride at a light or grind the clutch in rush hour traffic. Just fuçking hysterical. I know there are a bunch of these losers posting on this site all the time too.

OH YEAH, and if you think shaving the "DX" off the back of yor car makes your car all of a sudden an "Si", you're not fooling anybody.

and also, lose the ugly *** "Powered by HONDA" seat belt covers. They look budget. If only you knew how people laugh at you!

the rubber seals on the windows dont touch the windows, when you pull them down they dont remove any water (squeegie style), thats really annoyin!
I think the dash rattling is also annoying, my cars got 20000 km and i got 2 rattles already too, one in front and one in the back!
I think the car needs a bigger alternator and battery!
I think the bounciness in the rear is downright awful!
I think the seat mechanism is bad too cuz the driver seat alwayys shakes!

On the other hand, im almost 6'5 and weight about 210 and I do not have a problem sitting in the car, my hair does hit the roof every now and then, but its a lil two door, what more can i expect. I love the cars eagerness to move, its got a decent bite. Its still a good car, when i bought it i knew it wasnt gonna be a toyota, so im satisfied i guess becausae its still one really nice lookin car!!!

My '99 civic LX was sweet. Engine purred...seats were very comfortable...steering and handling great. No complaints whatsoever.

Compared to my 2k2 LX, that was a dream car.

Does anyone (especially 6' tall or more) feel as comfortable with the 7th gen. seating compared to the 6th Gen. Civic?

Is there ANYTHING about the 7th Gen. that outshines the 6th gen. ?

Bill
im 6'3 and i had a 99 ex. there is deffently more room in the car...taller and wider. The stearing is alot sharper as well. But yes, out suspension in the rear is a little bouncy, and sometimes you can hear it knock around. But no more worries for me in a few weeks when i replace the suspension

My biggest complaint is listening to all the cry babies whine about little problems mostly that they brought on them selves by modifying there car........MAN MADE THE CAR NOT GOD ALMIGHTY. therefore it might not be perfect. The 7th gen civic is a great little commuter car ,and this is what it was designed to be.......

A great little commuter car? Yeah it's good at that but to say that's what it was designed to be is a bit of a general statement. CIVIC's are basic economy cars that are really only AS GOOD as it's closest competition but, because of their reputation they garner more in terms off resale value. Only TOYOTA is known for being more reliable in this price range. People who modify their cars are wasting their time and money. This car is not meant for that. The amount of performance increase is minimal and are outweighed by the amount of risks you take with your engine, especially via COLD AIR INTAKES, NOS and aftermarket superchargers.

If your gonna get under the hood and wanna hear what a car can really do when modified get yourself a 69' MUSTANG and got your f'in hands dirty!

My problems
1. Knocking front suspension or toe-control link. So far dealer has replaced my struts but it came back after 1 month.
2. Torque steer
3. Aircon that emits fouls odor.

Funny how you could mod the older civics whith out problems, thats why you buy a honda so you dont have stupid problems

gotta bring something better to the table than that Ron
