civic 2001 gli shuts off while driving

Hi Saad here, so I have a Civic 2001 gli the car cuts off when I'm driving on the highway for roughly an hour or more. Radio and lights stay on. Just engine light comes on, car cuts off and then engine sign disappears. Went to a mechanic replaced fuel and oil filter, plugs and o2 sensor. Cam sensor also giving a error code. Now while driving within city car never cuts. It only cuts while continuously driving it for about an hour or more. And yes when it cuts I put the car on neutral and try ignition again, it starts but again stops after a while. I think may be something is heating up and shutting off the car???

Yeah I changed the cam sensor lets see how it goes.

Hi! I've got same problem...about a year ago i replaced cam sensor and the other sensor i forgot the name with surplus one..now for a year it was ok after it has been replaced but then now it happens again...probably i will replace it with original sensors and will see if it will work...
