7TH Gen JDM is an unknown quantity at this point
Do we need a JDM forum?

The 7th generation Civic is ripe for the JDM swap. Mileage is usually over 200,000. The motors are relatively cheap compared to other imported motors.

I've heard of people doing these swaps and driving around without cruise control, air conditioning, even power steering.

There are solutions to these systems that are not a direct swap. But not on You Tube, or anywhere I can find on the internet.

Why not here?

Sure why not? Can't say that I've ever seen anyone asking JDM questions around here though.

I think this is more a problem with the people doing the swaps, not the engines or cars.

MAAAAYBE the engines don't have the mounting bosses cast in for the belt driven accessories? I don't think I have ever seen one in person but I seriously doubt this is the case, as the engine is used worldwide.
