01 civic LX tranny issue. Not the normal

Hey guys. A good question for the techs out there. I have a 01 civic LX. Fresh transmission rebuild. Not even 15 miles on it yet. I rebuilt it myself using the Honda service manual. All clearences were good. I rebuilt it cause it did the usual slip when warm and then no gears. Okay rebuild when great. Had the clogged filter screen and wasted second clutch. Pretty much the norm.

Now got the car all back together. Ran it up to temp just like Honda says too and then topped off fluid and went for a test drive. All seemed great at first. Shifts were perfect. Smooth. No weird sounds. Then all of a sudden it was shuddering to shift gears. Then when I came to a stop and went to go again. I had nothing.

Now the weird part. If you shut the car off for only 5 seconds. Enough for the engine to stop and then instantly restart it the trans shifts great just as before. Then a couple min later it repaeats itself.

Any ideas? Has a new TCC solenoid also

Thank you!

I'd say to start with standard fluid pressure inspections. See if the pump pressure is going away when it neutrals.

Did you reuse the converter?
Did you flush the cooler?

New converter and yes I did flush the cooler. I partially think it's in the solenoids. Cause it works normal again when you turn the car off and then it goes weird. Like maybe one of the solenoids arnt returning right or something of that nature? Gonna ohms out the solenoids tonight when hot and cold.
