Do you know if it's a DX, LX, or EX? BTW... it's VTEC. :P

Re: 2004 Honda Civic Vtech engine

First the bad news: The 2004 and later models use the more expensive (and more better-er) wide-band sensor.
Now the good news: You shouldn't have to worry about the secondary (downstream) one that's attached to the catalytic converter. You only need to replace the upstream one that's near the exhaust manifold. It IS the more expensive of the two though. Here's a good site: https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,c...,parttype,5132

If it really has VTEC it's an EX!

I get the broke thing, but what does being female have to do with anything? We'd help you out if you were a lawn gnome as long as you asked us nicely!

First of all, AutoZoo doesn't DIAGNOSE anydamnthing.
They sell (mostly cheapo) parts, that's all they do.
Everything they do to "help" you is to help themselves SELL MORE PARTS.

Read codes. Fire the parts cannon. Ugh.

Reading codes and printing a shopping list is not diagnosis.
Reading a code is but one step of a diagnostic process.

Unless you absolutely know what you need AND what you are going to get, you don't want it.

You might not even need those "sensors" at all.

broke , female
Don't play that card here.
Broke is one thing, female or male doesn't matter.

/rant
any suggestions will be great
Start over.

Go back to the Zoo and get the code(s) read again (unless you already have the actual code numbers).

Write down the code numbers in our standard "P xxxx" format.
If you can get the freeze frame data too, that'd be great.

Post the code info here and we'll see what could be going on.
