Honda Civic Hybrid Start Clutch Issue - 2005

I have the starter clutch issue that many others have had and it was identified after the extended warranty. So, I have been living with this for several years by starting slow and changing the CVT fluid frequently. If I continue to do this am I risking safety or potential damage?

You, and (seems like) nearly everyone else that drives one.

IMO that's all you can do, unless you actually want to pull the trans and replace the start clutch ($$$).
