Just got a quote to have my 2001 civic ex worked on.The work that will be done is head gasket replaced,the head will be gone over at the machine shop,timing belt and water pump replaced.The quote is $1100.00,could Someone tell me if this is a good price or not.

i would say that's a very reasonable price

im assuming this is an independent shop and not a honda dealer, that sounds too cheap to be a dealer price,

cheap is not always good or better, that is a big job, so make sure they are capable of doing it right,

lots of horror stories on here about independent shops messing things up with the timing belt/head,
