Oil Leak in spark plug area
Oil Leak in spark plug area
The 1st spark plug chamber or tube( as you are facing the engine, cylinder #4 I think) was near filled with oil when I changed plugs. I see several seals on the ignition coils. What should I change to repair this leak.? Is there something other than the ignition coil seals. Thanks in advance.
Re: Oil Leak in spark plug area
you need to remove the valve cover, there are 4 round rubber seals that seal around the holes for the spark plugs, might as well change them all while you have the valve cover off
If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

This is what I see most often on 7th gens, usually after someone had the valve cover off.
