it have a 2002 hx with high miles but I cant seem to find an engine close to me but I can find a lot of ex engines close to me . from the research im doing there are a few differences, but what all would I have to do to put an ex engine in my hx?

but ill already have an hx ecm/pcm, are you saying buy an extra ecm/pcm ? or should I buy an ex ecm/pcm? lol im a complete newbie with Honda's, ive always owned chevy's and 1 dodge.

Sorry, I meant an EX ECM/PCM. You don't think you really need it tho. The HX ECM/PCM should work as you already have a VTEC engine so, you shouldn't need an EX engine harness.

Switch out the engine and make sure absolutely everything is plugged in. If everything is plugged in and it's running funny try swapping in an EX ECM/PCM.
