Another Oil Leak thread, please help! PICS INSIDE!

So I just re-did my brakes and some control arm maintenance, and I figured hey I'll change my oil while I'm down here. I pop the drain plug and probably a quart and a half, maybe two quarts come out

I immediately start checking around for signs of an oil leak, and I found this:

I figured well hey thats gotta be it! I did some digging around on here and found a couple other people with this problem. But I also noticed where my oil pan connects to the block, theres some gunky oil-ish looking stuff too (couldn't take a pic, didnt have enought light).

So my problem is, is that first picture where my two quarts of oil are leaking out? or since theres gunk looking stuff around my oil pan could it be an oil pan gasket?

Thanks guys again in advance, I've been posting so much here lately since I've actually had time and some money to get down underneath my car and perform some maintenance.

I don't see any pictures?

Any oil puddles show up when you park the car overnight?

I would start by checking the pan. I tend to clean off my pan any time I'm actually underneath the car. I would get a towel and clean off as much gunk as you can. Drive around until the car gets to operating temp and check underneath again. Same with any other areas you suspect.

Yeah, you could definitely leak 2 quarts over time. There's lots of fresh oil. It's probably the cam plug and/or o-ring:

Since I don't see a VTEC solenoid I assumed LX. It would be number 6: http://www.hondapartscheap.com/index...D%20%28SOHC%29 It doesn't show the o-ring that the service manual shows so get a high-temp o-ring from the auto parts store (or honda).

If you can't get the plug out you're gonna have to take the valve cover off. I would go ahead and replace the valve cover gasket and spark plug o-rings (they come in a kit).
