HELP NEEDED Possible electrical/transmission problem??
I just bought an 03 civic EX last week with 95,000 miles and this problem has happened twice since I got it. The first time, I started the car and started to drive and the car drove like it was stuck in 1st gear. The second time it happened I was backing up and the car got stuck in reverse and the power steering wasn't working. Both times, I ended up restarting the car and the problem went away.
My first thought was that the transmission was going out, but the second time it happened the power steering was out too. Could it be electrical??
