2001 Civic shuts off on neutral.

2001 Civic shuts off on neutral.
I have an 01 Civic, my timing belt recently broke and i replaced and it ran perfect but then the spring thats attached to the tentioner started eating through the tentioner so i replaced it and now my car turns off if i dont have the A/C on. If i have the A/C on then i can't pass 3000 rpm's cause it turns off on neutral or when i brake, the rpm's drop tp nearly 0 and then it shuts off. Today i went to drive it and it wouldn't turn on at all, i jumped it and it turned on but only if i have the cables on it. Anyone got any idea what it might be?
