Hello all,
I need to order a front motor mount for my civic...it is a manual 5 speed - I see a note asking about whether mine is code SLW...it is not, it is a PLW...can anyone explain the differences? The motor mount looks pretty darn close to being the same...

I'm seeing both stamped on mine, so I can't tell the difference either

For years, I've always wondered what that rubber cap was keeping out or keeping in. %u00A0I see it on both manual and automatic transmissions


I removed the cap, so what is it?




GTS, what does this stamp signify? ( %u00A0:01 %u00A0)


The this stamp is also throwing me off as well




I want to find the gear ratios and final drive as I'm curious to know its top speed at about 6,800 RPM. %u00A0I don't know if it's a DX, EX or LX gearbox.
I had tried counting the ratio of turns between the input shaft and the output through each gear, but I keep losing track and then end up getting frustrated as I keep losing the mark I etched on one of the splines.

Mine also says slw its originally a dx non vtec i put the d17a2 engine to it
