Rep Power: 0 Bent Sturt Mount and Seat ?
So Im working on the suspension today. I have opened the sturt and compressed the spring and opened the mount. The mount looks bent and there is nothing wrong with the sturt bearings.
Plus the spring seat should be like that ?
Check the pics please. I have everything open right now and I might have to run to the dealer to get the mounts if they have them
Thanks

Your camera wouldn't happen to have a macro function, would it? Take close-up pics using that mode. It's kinda hard to tell what I'm looking at otherwise

Don't pry off the metal piece, the original strut mounts were weak and that is the new design. Those are exactly the same as my mounts and they work just fine.

I deleted the part numbers to make it easier to read, now it just shows the reference numbers on the diagram. The part you have should be part of an assembly of several parts 11, 9, 7 if memory serves.
If someone else could chime here I'd appreciate it, I don't remember my strut install flawlessly.

My civic is 01 EX part number for sturt mount is 51925-S5A-024
The part number for 02 (Yours) is 51925-S5A-751
Not the same part number and price
Plus the metal ring does not move and it doesn't have bearings. Maybe the bearings from 02 will fit in the metal ring because the 02 bearing are larger in size

Have you verified that you were sent the correct part?
There are a couple different designs of strut mounts in 7th gens.
The metal ring is not supposed to move, the bearing fits within the metal disk.

Check the pictures below with the part numbers I believe that they put an 02 mount which is part number 51925-S5A-751 in the 01 label 51925-S5A-024
I dont know what to do at this point ? Now that I have new plastic bearings and spring seat that belong to the 01 old setup and one old design mount and one maybe new redesigned mount.
I sent Majestic an email with pictures but they havent answered me yet I even called them and they said that they want to check the email first

I went to a Honda dealer and found part number 51925-S5A-024 so I bought it ! The part that Majestic sent me was for 02 and it was miss labeled and they will not guarantee that if I ordered another it will be the same...
Now I installed everything into my car and i dont hear the clunking noise anymore but I do hear some noises but at this point I don't care.. I still need a camber kit
Thanks MindBomber for everything and i hope this thread will help somebody in the future
