my heater is acting crazy, this is the first winter ive had my 02 civic, and my heater only gets warm on the highway, but sumtimes it does get warm in town, and my sometimes my blower doesnt come on at all unless i hit a bump then it kicks on, but again sumtimes it works just fine, im so confused with this, can someone help??

may want to take apart the blower motor. maybe its clogged with dust inside. usually they are pretty easy to remove under the glove box

First, check and see if the cabin filters need changed. Then clean the blower. While down there, look for loose or corroded wires/connections.

I had a similar problem with my 2001 LX Sedan.
I nailed it down to the blower transistor testing bad.
It seems to be a common problem.
