Car wont start troubleshooting help
So I replaced the head gasket on a 04 Civic EX Tuesday and finally finished putting everything back together Wednesday afternoon and the car wouldn't start. I didn't replace the timing belt like I probably should of when I was down there and did move it while getting it out the way so I thinking thats why the car won't start because same thing happened to a guy with a 95 civic.
One thing that had me thinking otherwise was when I pulled out my spark plugs to double check the gaps they came out wet with oil on the tip. Is that normal, because I don't remember seeing that on my Mazda when I changed those, are spark plugs supposed to be moist with oil or fuel?
Also if you will just throw some other possibilities out there for me.
In the mean time I'm just gonna head to the garage and start ripping out that timing belt.
