2001 civic eng replace need help
2001 civic eng replace need help
Hey all
I have a 2001 civic with an eng that took a poop. Well I have new used eng from a 2005 of the same size and all but am finding that my original does not have an EGR valve and the new one does.
I am wondering if I can just swap the water passage from my old eng to the new thus deleting the EGR.
The only thing I have noticed to hinder that is blowing compressed air in the rear passage of the new head leads to air coming out of the intake manifold and on the old eng I just have a blocked port.
Any helps or tips would be great.
