Honda Civic 02 Fuel Filter

After reading the below forum articles, I believe the fuel filter for my Civic is a strainer.

Is this correct? Can anyone verify this?

The dealership says they don't sell it, but I found it at Advanced Auto Parts.

01-05 civic uses a strainer in the fuel tank/pump area yes. no other filters.
