Issues with cruise control (stopped working)

So long story short I had to remove my whole stock airbox because two of the screws were spinning freeley and my air filter was dirty. I put a new one in and got everything back on but now my cruise control doesn't work and is acting funny. I didn't touch the cables other than unscrewing the two to move the cable out of the way. Now when I engage cc if I'm going 80 my mph will fall by 5 and then downshift. I've checked fuses and they are all good. Any one ever run into this issue? Thanks for the help.

wait why did you have to move the cable out of the way? and which part of the cable, where it connects to the tb or just the lines running above the intake? it sounds like the cruise cable is loose.

Re: Issues with cruise control (stopped working)

had to remove the cable for a valid reason. i think i needed to do it to remove the stock airbox in some way i just cant remember. the only part of the cable i touched was the ones running by the intake box. seems that you'd be right about a cable being loose. im going to check some things in the morning and see if i cant get some more info. thanks for the help.
