there's a lot of things that could cause a p0302.. bad spark plug or bad wire are in that mix..
From searching you don't own a 7thgen civic, so you should prolly post what kinda car you have since you decided to post in the wrong section. a 96cx, from what I could tell by searching?

sorry, its a 98 civic hatchback 1.6l.. ive since cleared the code and driven it for a while checked it for the same code but nothing....hmm
